Ashley & the Altruists are a progressive rock band for ecological regeneration. It is a musical project of local musician and environmental activist Ashley Marie Mazanec, who founded the EcoArts Foundation, a San Diego based nonprofit that communicates environmental solutions via the arts. Bass by Vicente Ramos, drums by Liam Conaboy, and a smorgasbord of horns by David Tcheng accompany Mazanec’s voice and keyboard.
