In-School EcoArts Program

The in-school EcoArts Program integrates the science of ecology with artistic media, deepening students’ imagination for a healthy, vibrant world. Thanks to the Del Sur Foundation and Willow Grove Foundation, we are pleased to announce that EcoArts is now serving two elementary schools in the Poway Unified School District —that's 2,000 young eco artists!

Our unique program features art history, wildlife recordings, diverse media, and museum specimens, enhancing both childhood environmental literacy and artistic expression. Students learn art and ecology vocabulary, exercise creative thinking, and engage in the wider cultural dialogue surrounding environmental topics. Through art, we engage emotionally with natural systems, human health, and our own quality of life.

We are excited to continue developing exploratory, solution-oriented programming for students and schools. Our program is committed to sourcing class materials responsibly with upcycled and earth-friendly items.
